Shuswap School of Woodcarving
Sorrento Centre is proud to host the 5th annual Shuswap School of
Woodcarving September 19 to 25, 2010. Instructors from
across North America will share their expertise in nine different
classes.
Come and explore your own unique carving skills with various
expert carvers. Courses for the week include instruction on making a
Northwest Coastal Indian mask, caricatures, whales, red winged
blackbird and kestrel. The week will start off with a barbeque, then
you will get into the carving experience. Paper art and painting
lessons will also be available. What a great way to spend a week!
