The Farm: Education Program
As part of the Sorrento Centre commitment to continued personal and spiritual growth we are offering programming to youth and adults about all aspects of farming, food and Creation. Some of our program topics include:
- The Poetry of Farming
- The Morality of Food
- Practical Gardening
- Greening Sacred Spaces
- Native Plants and Ecology
- Faith and Farming
- Cooking and Food Preservation
Our youth program includes education opportunities for youth in our Summer Youth Program, community outreach workshops, LEAP program work and learning days, workshops for the students at the Sorrento Elementary School and volunteer learning opportunities.

We offer a variety of opportunities for adults to learn on our farm. These include our week-long courses, farm tours, volunteer opportunities and outside speaking engagements.
