Sorrento Centre invites children and families from across our region to participate in the Day Camp program, particularly in the Salmon Arm, Shuswap and Kamloops communities. Day Camp is an opportunity for children and youth between the ages of 5-12 to participate in program activities including crafts, games, beach time, music, athletics and social activities.
Learning and spiritual growth
Sorrento Centre is a place of learning and spiritual growth. Our Day Camp program is focused on fostering learning and spiritual growth in children and youth participants. The Sorrento Centre Day Camp is a place where children and youth can experience creation, make new friends, learn about faith, learn about themselves, and gain important skills and experiences.
Open inclusive environment
Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for young people to be part of a community that encourages and nurtures the development of spirituality and the stewardship of God’s creation. All of our faith-based teachings are non-denominational and we offer children a space to experience spiritual teaching in an open and inclusive environment.
Memorable summer camp experience
Sorrento Centre day camp is offered as two separate weeks in July each year. Each week is led by enthusiastic, qualified and energetic staff members. Our staff members are committed to creating a safe and fun environment that offers children and youth an opportunity to have a memorable summer camp experience.
Dates
- Time: 10am – 4:30pm
- During Week Two of "Fives Weeks of Summer": Monday, July 9 - Friday, July13
- During Week Four of "Fives Weeks of Summer" Monday, July 23 - Friday, July 27

Cost
- $130 for first child (includes a family season beach pass)
- $100 for subsequent children or for a second week of Day Camp
