For ten years the Sorrento Centre has been hosting NimbleFingers Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Workshop (formerly called the BC Bluegrass Workshop), a 2-week celebration of all things Bluegrass and Old-Time. During that time many musical artists have been so moved by their experience they have composed songs about it. Dave Clarke is one of those artists.
His song "Sorrento" is one of those responses and it is offered here with his permission as a thanksgiving with happy memories. It is performed by Shearwater, from Vancouver Island: Dave Clark, Tammy Fassaert, Miriam Sonstenes, and James Whittalll [www.shearwaterband.com]
