Protecting What We Love:
Spirituality, God’s Creation, and Making a Difference
with Mishka Lysack and Julia Kilpatrick
“We know from experience that we will exploit what we merely value, but that we will protect what we love.” – Wendell Berry
In nature, we experience restoration and peace. In the Bible, we see how caring and deeply protective God is of creation. But creation is under serious threat from environmental problems and climate change. Are our spirituality and our love of nature linked? Can we deepen our spirituality through gardening, cooking soup, or writing our MP?
In this ground-breaking event, two leaders from two generations will lead us into an inspiring dialogue about spirituality and protecting creation, exploring our stories as pathways into hope, faith, and empowerment. We will learn how to deepen our spirituality and make a difference as guardians of creation.
