Planning for and Dealing with Life After Death
with Karl Maier & Phil Carverhill
There is an old saying that nothing is certain except death and taxes. Yet the dying process and subsequent experience of bereavement are still journeys into unfamiliar territory. The journey involves both complex legal considerations and deep psychological issues. Dealing with practical matters and difficult emotions at once can be challenging without reliable guides along the way.
In this course you will examine and discuss various legal and psychosocial aspects, both before the end of life and in the aftermath. Your facilitators are a psychologist who specializes in the areas of grief and loss, and a lawyer whose practice encompasses planning for and dealing with wills and estates. Together, Phil and Karl will assist you in anticipating for and living with death in a wide array of scenarios, possibilities and probabilities.
